This place is like a third world country clinic if not worst! I was sent there by the company I work for as this is for a Workmen’s Comp claim I was in the hospital two day before where I was diagnosed of having five herniated disc and was told that I need to get an MRI and visit a Neurologist ASAP! Please note I’m in a lot of pain I met with Dr. Joseph D. Who had all my paperwork that I provided from my hospital visit he looked through it several times he asked me 3 different times what meds they prescribe and all three different times I told him it was listed on page 2 . He started telling me I don’t need an MRI and the hospital likes to push you to do things that are unnecessary and that I needed to start therapy with his clinic… I told him I had a CT scan done at the hospital once again I told him I have five herniated disc’s and I’m in a lot of pain and he said I only needed therapy please note he has not event seen my CT scan or any x-rays or MRI of my back. I let him know that he dose Not know what he is talking about and that I want to leave his office he said in order for Workmen’s Comp to cover my case I needed to go threw him I told him that I’m going to a real Doctor refused his service! Please note he was wearing a fake Rolex that had more rust on it than gold plating and black dirt under his finger nails I truly felt discussed by him and his lack of knowledge to such a serious situation as my back problem. The girls in his office said they totally understood my concerns…
I never write reviews But I felt that I had a moral obligation to warn others…

Prepare to wait forever, the staff is nice but for a simple drug test it took over two hours for this center. What a complete disregard for their customers time, they should be ashamed. I would not choose any center of Cano Health for any service.

I went to this place to do a medical evaluation for a government job and part of the medical evaluation was a hearing test.

The hearing test was done in a wooden box in the middle of the hallway where you could hear people slamming doors and noise from outside of the wooden box where the hearing evaluation was taken. The wooden box had some sound foam dampening panels on the inside of the wooden box like the ones you see in recording studios but I could still hear noises from outside the box when taking the sound evaluation which was really distracting because the sounds they play during the evaluation are whisper quiet and if you hear people talking outside and doors slamming you could easily miss the sounds.

The headphones that they gave me for the hearing test didnt fit my whole head and the holes where the sound came out of on the headphones were really small, I wish they would have used over ear headphones that cover your whole ears and remove exterior distractions. The hearing test was to hear some really low sounds (whisper quiet) and press a button every time you heard a sound but with all the noise outside of the wooden testing box and the headphones that didnt fit properly because my head was too big for the headphones it made it really difficult to pass the hearing test.

The parking spaces were horrible too, there are limited parking spaces and when I finished my medical evaluation there were two huge SUVs parked in back of my car so I couldn’t leave until the SUV drivers came and moved their vehicles from in back of my car.

As a CDL DRIVER, I like personal at Health Care Center of Miami because they stay very helpful in helping with the exam required by the DOT. They e-mail on time the date the medical card is going to expire giving time to upgrade this card. I spent about 30 minutes in perform the exam and getting everything the state law requires, including tell the DOT THAT MY MEDICAL CARD WAS RENEWED. That’s my experience at this place, I don’t know what is yours, I hope you have the best experience at this location and with the friendly staff.
