Happy Party Corp

So glad I found them! Made my party possible with the extra chairs for a very reasonable price, at the last moment. All people there were extremely friendly and helpful. They really understand what business they are in, the fun business.

Terrible experience with a character rental here for my son’s 4th bday party. When I went to book the entertainer online, the price listed was $180. However, when I called they quoted me $225 for a Marshall (Paw Patrol) Entertainer – stating that the extra was due to the specialized type of entertainer. The person was going to come and look like Marshall but not be a mascot, which was fine. They were going to play games and do face painting activities. Fast forward to the day of the party. The entertainer that shows up is not dressed as Marshall or any other character for that matter. My son cried. We decided to give her a shot and see what she could do, after all we paid for her and a lot. She began to play games with the kids but was unable to capture their attention, so I asked her to just paint their faces. She informed me she didn’t have face paint or any activities other than a handful of games she could play with the kids. She also informed me that she didn’t even work for Happy Party Corp she had just been outsourced/contracted from another company and was unaware that she was supposed to look like Marshall or have face paint. After 20 minutes, we kindly asked the entertainer to leave. I called Happy Party Corp to sort this out and was told that all I would receive was HALF of what I paid back as a credit toward future purchases from them. However, I will never deal with them again. I have used characters for my children’s parties for the past 3 years and always from different places. I would NOT recommend this place for characters/entertainment as they are unwilling to compensate and own up to their mistakes. I am currently waiting on a call from management as I would appreciate a full refund on my character deposit.
