On 4 separate occasions I set up appointments for a technician to come and inspect an issue I was having and on 4 separate occasions NO ONE SHOWED UP OR EVEN CALLED. My association uses this company which is the reason I called them since they were familiar with the property (I might petition for this company to be changed as well for our entire building). NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. 4 Days I rearranged my schedule to fit theirs and they disregarded my time. DO NOT EXPECT THIS COMPANY TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP!

They did a great job, very communicative they let you know if there is any problem before continuing and they are very fast workers too. They were careful with my plants as I demanded. Overall, very satisfied with their service.

A little over a year ago I contracted Dolphin Termite Services to tent my home. They “supposedly” guaranteed the work for 2 years. Last week I noticed a small pile of wood droppings in my living room where I have wood ceiling. I contacted them via phone to advise I have termites again, since the evidence is exactly what I saw last time when they gladly charged me to tent my home. I don’t remember who I spoke to but from the moment I mentioned I’m a customer who is under the 2 year guarantee and I’m seeing the same droppings in my living room as last year, the DTS employee immediately started trying to justify the evidence blaming it on anything other than termites.

Example of one of the justifications:
Dolphin: What you are seeing is probably effects of the previous infestation.
Me: Impossible since my roof/ceiling was redone last year around the time you tented and there hasn’t been any droppings until recently.

I was advised an inspector will be contacting me to schedule an appointment. I ended the call disappointed, with the ominous feeling they weren’t going to keep their promise. I left the brown pile of dust on the floor so the inspector can see the proof himself and within a week it’s gradually grown into a larger pile.

The inspector they sent out saw the pile, moved it with his finger and immediately stated, that’s not termites. He then blamed it on ants, stating ants are lifting my grout, my grout is light beige not dark brown. When I pointed out, his explanation doesn’t make any sense, my wood ceiling is dark brown and the pile is obviously coming from the ceiling, he then change his explanation to “it’s another type of insect eating the wood.”

June of 2018 Dolphin Termite Services acknowledged I had termites, accepted payment, and wrote a contract giving me 2 years of guarantee with the same evidence of termites they are denying today.

I became upset and advised I will be contacting the Consumer Protection Agency. The inspector told me to go ahead, he’s been doing this for years. I responded, “Good to know you’ve been scamming people for years.” He became irate and told me I was disrespectful and needed to learn how to talk to people. I tried calling the office to speak to a manager but there was no answer.

They didn’t tell us what we needed to do. They threw away all our food when they said they would call us and let know what we needed to do prior to them coming. They went through my daughters jewelry box. We were leaving on vacation and left our keys with a neighbor and told us they had to keep our keys that it was the law? Very rude people to deal with.
