CrossFit Doral

This is my favorite place!!

Every time we visit our son in Miami from Jersey City NJ we visit our friends at Crossfit Doral. It’s always good to see the owner and our friends. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I stopped in to this box as I was visiting Doral and visited another box before coming to this one. All boxes have their own energy and flow, but CrossFit Doral really takes it to another level. While I only gave the coach my name once (and at 6 am) he said my name with confidence throughout the workout as if I was part of the family already. This truly made my experience one to remember and felt beyond accepted.
Quick fact also, the day before hand I had neglected my sleep and nutrition, so much in fact that I knew I wasn’t at my best for the WOD that morning but I still wanted to get my workout done for the day. Coach saw this, he helped me focused on the Snatches we did for the strength portion and when we came across the actual WOD, he stopped me midway. I cannot stress how important it is for Coaches to realize when a drop in or any of their members are suffering fatigue or something is off. He came over, talked to me briefly and figured out why I was looking the way I was. We scaled the WOD down a bit, advised me to calm down on the speed I was exerting myself and before you know it, I was attacking the WOD in a different light and truly pushed myself to my limit. We had a small debrief before departing and I only wish I had come to this box for the duration of my short stay at Doral. But now, I just know for th enext time to head straight over =]

Spacious box, plenty of equipment, highly qualified coaches. Owner runs box very traditionally. Box has several challenges and competitions. Has platforms which are excellent for weightlifting. Offers childcare. Affordable only if you sign up with a partner or spouse. Sadly they do not use WODify.
