Repair facility built on a foundation of lies.

I took my car to be repaired at this specific location thinking a corporate owned chain of shops would have a better understanding on how to properly communicate and ensure a repair service is handled correctly. But I was wrong. Although the repair itself is satisfactory, everything from customer service to billing was horrible. No one will call you back even though they say they will. The managers are non existent and will only respond to de-escalate situations and then refuse to answer calls or messages until the situation warrants their attention. Knowing when your car will be ready is impossible. They will constantly change the deadline of the repair. They “use” a SMS based notification system that either they are unaware of or have left unattended. The notifications will “update” you stating the car will be ready by a certain date. If you call in to verify said date, the rep will inform you that they will verify and call you back, but never do. If you show up on the supposed date, the car will not be ready with a basket of excuses. If you confront them of the notification system, they’ll simply say “yeah those are our messages, but you should’ve waited for our call.” Then what purpose does that system serve except confusion?

The best part would have to be when they ended my claim prematurely informing the insurance company that the repair was “complete” when it actually wasn’t. I confronted their service advisor and he stated that the car would be ready well before I’d ever be charged by the rental company.

That didn’t happen.

That went on for a FULL WEEK until the car was finally ready. This then created a situation where I was driving a rental car that was no longer being paid for by anyone. I spoke with a manager of this and he assured me that the bill would be covered by the shop. This now brings me to the main reason of my review. As of today, I was formally charged by the rental company for the overages that the shop said they would pay for. I now have to pay for this out of pocket plus interest for something that should have never happened to begin with. Something a fully insured consumer should normally never see.

Steer clear if you value real communication and no surprises when it comes to your repair. Their mantra is “Restoring the Rhythm of your Life.” That couldn’t be further from the truth.

At first they said the car would be ready by Wednesday. They never called so I did and they said Thursday. They never called again. Finally I got the car on Friday. When I got home I discovered that the repair was poorly done. Paint was allowed to accumulate and botch on the corners of the bumper. The area where the accident happened was not fixed correctly. Imperfections and several tiny craters were left. Clearly with the naked eye one could see where the accident happened. I would go somewhere else in the future for sure.
