A-1 Optical

Got glasses here about 7 month ago, expensive compared to Costco or Bjs optical even walmart optical.. but gave them a chance because of family friends recommending them. The glass of the glasses cracked out of nowhere on the top and bottom of the glass on the right eye, now less than a month since first one broke the second one is starting to crack. No damage, no dropping, nothing.. These people have to be using some cheap materials or cutting corners I’ve had glasses my whole life and this has never happened before. Never! Do yourself a favor and with the money you’re going to spend here for 1 pair get 2 somewhere else…

Absolutely the worst optical I have ever been to. The contacts I bought from here are defective. I checked my vision less than a year ago with them and bought contacts from this place twice. This second time around the contacts gave me allergies in one eye. I’m not able to wear them for longer than 3 days before I have to throw them out. Mind you they’re 30 days contacts. After three days of usage, my right eye hurts so much I am almost not able to remove the contact. I don’t have anything in my eye. I use eye drops. I wash my contacts. The best part of my terrible experience is that I called to let them know what was happening and that I’ve thrown away almost the entire box of 6 months contacts, and the rude woman who works there was not being pleasant. She rudely answered the phone and said it was not their problem, that I was the problem. She did not try to help me at all, she didn’t even offer me a check up. She was not trying to dissolve the problem, instead she was making the situation worse. Then, she said I should wear my glasses until my next check up with them next month. OVER MY DEAD BODY WILL I GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANOTHER DIME OUT OF MY POCKET. I will make sure I don’t recommend this place to anyone, instead I hope you steer clear of this place. The employees are extremely rude and not helpful whatsoever, it’s never their fault according to them. DO NOT COME HERE.

Wonderful friendly atmosphere. After seeing the doctor I could take my time pick the frames I wanted. Did not feel rushed at all. My glasses fit very well, and nicely. Would go back for my next pair. Recommend you try this place!

Great people they have been here for 35+ years! That tells you a lot about a business, super honest and upfront. Came with an eye exam from another doctor, guy gave me quote in case I wanted to get my glasses with them. He offered a lot of different frames and was very helpful. I did it with them and it was cheaper then costco go figure. And I have a super bad prescription -11. From here to Lasik if not I come back for a pair, THANK YOU!

Dr. Vazquez-Mendoza and the entire staff are patient, helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs. Glad i visited and would come back.
