Caravela Portuguese Restaurant Miami

A bit pricey but the portions were good sized and prepared well. Many traditional dishes, comparable in preparation and presentation to what you find in Portugal, so a great taste of the country here. Owners very friendly and nice conversation in between waiting on other customers. Pastel da nata very good, although very expensive. About an hour from our home so won’t go often but definitely worth going back.

Really good experience. The best bacalhau we’ve eaten. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it!

Quite a good experience. The flavor is pure Portuguese, contrary to other places in Miami in which Portuguese is only in the name. The service is very attentive and cordial. The pace is not rush but not slow either. Very professional and we’ll be going back, a lot.

Love the ambiance. Relaxed dining environment. Appetizers are awesome. The grilled octopus is great. The shrimp in garlic sauce is my favorite main dish. Service is exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant

Authenticate Portuguese food. Great service, quality & ambience. The meat & fish were cooked to perfection. The olive oil was flavorful yet not too strong on the palette. We were too stuffed to eat dessert but a couple of them with port will be what we try next. A much needed addition to the Doral food scene.
