STOLEN / HOLDING HOSTAGE LOAD
This carrier booked this load with appointments scheduled for CA and OR. Their driver had hour of service issue and load had to be rescheduled. Unfortunately, it was during holiday week, and it was rescheduled for 11/27 & 11/29. Carrier decided to open the seal without authorization and unload at a warehouse. We dont have release to recover our load. It is considered stolen / holding hostage load for our company. We are still trying to recover and deliver. Also, carrier is requesting payment to release load. Beware, do not use this carrier, if you want your load delivered.

This company has many different names. DGD, FTL Hub, and Dray Hub just to name a few. The owner of this company is a scammer. Along with his office manager, Kathy, and his, well I don’t know what her title is, Lucy. They have this elaborate operation where they scam and steal money from drivers as well as customers. I’m a former driver who was with them just under 2 months. First of all, they guarantee drivers 2600 miles a week. You’ll never see it. If you drive more than 2600 miles, they automatically knock it down to 2600 miles. Then they use some program that creatively deducts MORE miles from the driver. They also say you’ll get a $2000 sign in bonus. I never saw a dime of that. The owner, Luis, literally threatened my life when I refused to pull a trailer that was damaged due to a severe wind storm. Then his office manager lied to a broker and told them I delivered the load already when I actually hadn’t. Then when the broker spoke to Luis, Luis cussed him out, called HIM names and said some pretty nasty stuff about the brokers company, like it was somehow THEIR fault. These people harassed me, screamed at me, called me names on a daily basis. I couldn’t even get a full night’s rest without them calling me and waking me up. Finally I had enough and told them to bring me home and I’m quitting. At that point they stopped paying me. This company owes me over $5000. The stress they caused me was immeasurable. If you’re a driver, do yourself a favor and pass this one. I’ve been a professional driver for 11yrs and I have driven 1 million safe miles. And I have never, in my entire career come across a company like this. It’s one thing to nickle and dime a driver’s last check. It happens. But these scum are flat out STEALING money from drivers. And from the looks of the Google reviews, they scam money from customers as well. Stay away!

I was so relieved and excited about the success I have had with DGD Transport. We had utilized their Asset Based FTL services for our logistics. Dealing with their representatives was streamlined, easy, and took so much concern off our shoulders. We will most definitely using them for the long term!

Amazing and astounding service! From looking through their website, calling to assist in the questions I had about their LTL services. It was a great experience dealing with the company! After calling and speaking to one of their representatives I was then able to take a hands on look at their facilities. All of their staff was very helpful, guided me right through and helped me greatly figure out the best solution for what I needed. Thank you very much DGD Transport!

Extremely unprofessional, unreliable and misleading company from start till the end of the project.
We have used DGD company for one on our projects in Florida. It was one of the worst experiences we have even encountered in our company’s 50 year freight forwarding history.

We have shipped 2×40 flat rack containers with DGD and in our long experience we know that with any project cargo shipments there are many variables, and many hidden costs that can not be stated in the quoting phase. We have nominated this company to handle this shipment, and disclosed full set of requirements, cargo details, and the whole project outlay. We have asked DGD multiple times during the execution of the project if all charges are included, and they have confirmed they were. Upon delivering our cargo to the port as the final step, they have issued us the shipment invoice with approximately $4000.00 more than what was quoted, and demanded immediate payment so that they can tender the cargo at the port.
Basically, they took the cargo as a hostage until the full payment was made, as they knew that they have added so much extra fees without any explanation or proof. We have tried to reasonably negotiate with DGD, and explain that this was not the payment agreement we had agreed upon, and their response for that was that they called off the driver that was already at the port tendering one of the containers.
The fact that they have so many sister companies, and have changed their company name many times, already speaks for itself. Thus, we would strongly recommend never to use this company for any of your shipments, as you will be experiencing extreme disappointment, unprofessional and dishonest service.
