Extended Stay America – Miami – Airport – Blue Lagoon

This motel is pretty much your typical motel with standard amenities. The area is super dark and creepy at night so I would get a room as close to the lobby as possible. You would have to drive where you’re going because there’s just warehouses in the area. No retail or dining within walking distance. Rooms are clean and equipped with a mini kitchen.

This location was very clean, the staff was very helpful and gave us our keys quickly when we had a late night check in. The rooms were comfortable and located close to the port we were cleaning from. Best price for the area and a good deal

My wife cried when she saw the room…and not tears of joy. Dingy and dirty. Broken fixtures everywhere and extremely dilapidated. Heavy mildew smell. No hot water. A kitchen but no dishes. A few fleas on our bed. Gnats swarming our heads. Crayon scribbles on the dresser. No blanket on the bed (they did bring us some). On the good side, other than the fleas, the linen seemed clean and the mattress was comfortable enough.

Decent enough place to stay really only for a short time. I’d say no more than 2 days. The breakfast is a grab and go with only coffee, hot water, muffins and granola bars. Feels more like a motel than a hotel.

In reply: oh yes, definitely will be going back to an ESA. I never have an awful time and are almost always decently priced.

The rooms really really clean, you feel excellent like you were in home.

And specially the Service is AMAZING! ,The incredibly polite staff helps a lot to make the stay better.
