If you want to be treated with respect and courtesy during your stay, please don’t come here. I just had a horrible situation with this hotel’s “Assistant General Manager”, her name is Vanessa Barreto. My family and I are staying for three days in this hotel and we had had a good stay up until we were approached very rudely, and I mean; very, by miss Barreto, who without even looking at my eyes almost shouted at me when I was holding my 2 year-old boy at the front desk, saying that I shouldn’t be here without a face mask. I absolutely understand and respect rules from all places I visit, but we’ve been staying here for 2 days, and we weren’t required to use a mask when we checked in, specially not when going from the parking lot to our room, it was new information to us, so we were definitely not wearing a mask at the time, nor other 2 people that also were on the lobby at the time I was approached by Miss Barreto. We’ve been in contact with several staff members and no one had ever told us that we should wear masks at all times while on the property. The fact that she told me I shouldn’t be here, specially in the incredibly rude way she approached us is unacceptable to say the least. We called and had a reservation before coming in, we received emails and even took the time to read all posters on walls and such, there was absolutely no indication that wearing masks was a requirement. Miss Barreto mentioned her boss was around, so maybe she was just trying to look good regardless of her mistreating actions against Marriott’s customers. What an awful experience. After she was this rude, I still needed to mention that the glass bathroom door was teetering upon the bridge of falling, a heavy door that’s definitely a hazard, to which she said that the maintenance guy had already left (at 3pm) and that they would take care of it tomorrow. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

To Whom It May Concern:

I was a guess at the Fairfield By Marriott, Miami Airport West/Doral several months ago. My sister works for the Marriott in Los Angels, California, and I was booked using the Associate rate. While checking in, I had trouble printing out my form; Daniel G., the Guest Service Associate was very patient with me, and assisted me in printing out the form needed. This was my first trip to Miami, and not being familiar with the area, nor having transportation, Daniel G., was kind enough to suggest a very nice restaurant for me to dine, which was within walking distance. At the time of my stay, the beautiful Christmas tree dressing up the lobby, which coincidentally was decorated by Daniel G., turned out to be a wonderful spot for myself and other guest to pose for photos. Daniel G., truly went out of his way to make sure that my stay was a pleasurable one; all services were excellent. I plan to stay at this location anytime I revisit the Miami area.

Comfy bed. Quiet. Nice staff. Walking distance to Mexican restaurant. Beautiful decor. Breakfast was outstanding.

Excellent location, close to the airport. Walking distance from shops, bars, and restaurants (Chuy’s TexMex, Boston Market, and Burger King.)

Clean, quiet and comfortable place. Check in and check out were very quick. Comfortable beds and pillows.

The hotel has a little convenience store that sells snacks, drinks, and small meals.

Complimentary breakfast is fair. Place for breakfast could be little larger. It gets very crowded at anytime during the breakfast hours. Breakfast staff could be more friendly. They close exactly at 9:00 a.m.

No towels in pool area, neither at front desk.

I am at the end of my first week of a two week stay here at the Fairfield by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral and I am thrilled so far with the cleanliness, the room and its amenities. The best part of my stay is the service. The gals in the morning at breakfast are delightful, the front services are very kind and professional. There is one stand out…Jonathan with front services has gone above and beyond with every single request I have thrown at him with grace and promptness. I will definitely recommend this property to all my friends, family and co-workers. I look forward to my next week here as well.
