Went to RENEW my concealed carry permit, was quick and painless. Was in and out in less then 45 minutes on a Tuesday right after lunch.

For first time CCP/CWP licenses they DO NOT accept walk-ins so you have to make an appointment. Also NO CASH ACCEPTED! ONLY CHECK, MONEY ORDER, OR CC/DEBIT CARD! You’ve been warned!

For renewals, just bring your renewal letter, and your ID. Once they call you in, you sit at a computer and put in your information, make sure everything is correct and press submit. Then it prompts you to pay by card. Once you’ve paid, you print the receipt.

Next they take you for your picture (renewal doesn’t require you to take finger prints again, only new applicants do).

After you take your picture they ask you to wait outside the room. About 5 minutes later they print out your replacement card! YES, you get the card the same day. I was shocked! I was expecting to wait 6-8 weeks to get the replacement by mail.
