Hampton Inn Miami-Airport West

Overall great experience, Friendly Staff, Nice Room, Delicious Breakfast. Only issue was a rusted out safety bar in the shower but I informed them & they offered to change rooms but it was not that big a deal otherwise I would have rated 5 stars.

Tidy and quiet room. Good access for taxi pickup and drop off. unfortunately the shuttle from/to airport is just horrible; the waiting time is way too long!

Clean accommodating and polite. We arrived at midnight the shuttle was there with in 20 minutes. The room was clean. It did have a smell to it. The breakfast was hot and well stocked. The pool was not cleaned out even in the morning so that was a turn off.

Horrible shuttle experience. Waited for more than 30 minutes for shuttle while trying to call hotel the whole time. Took an UBER to find shuttle sitting in front of hotel. We told the receptionist we waited for shuttle and she said it was “by request” so we told her we called over and over again and she said she was only one at desk and was too busy to answer phone. Lovely… and in morning shuttle only leaves ON THE HOUR so we had to take one about an hour early unsure of security lines. Oh, and since shuttle leaves at 6 and breakfast starts at 6, well, missed that too. The only important thing I searched when looking was “hotel shuttle” so that makes this hotel a big fail.

Alex was amazing at the front desk from start (she checked me in) to finish (she was the same one who checked me out the next day)! Sweet, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and makes residents feel valued. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the room looked outdated and mediocre at best: 3 lights out in bathroom, loud fan in bathroom, and A/C that was stuck in blizzard mode.
