Goes with out saying I saw what wonderful work they did with my dear old friend natasha colon and I am nothing but amazed at the amazing work and how they made this day so special to such an amazing individual I missed it because I was traveling but now that I’m back I find this to be an amazing company

The appropriate amount of stars to rate them would be 0.
What we were forced to deal with on our wedding day was unacceptable on so many levels.
The invoice that my caterer approved and gave them authority to charge by credit card clearly states that the delivery was for 12 noon. The rentals did not in fact arrive until 3:10. That is 3 hours and 10 minutes late. The bride (me) was scheduled to walk down the aisle at 3:20. Imagine my surprise as well as that of my guests when they noticed that there are NO chairs to sit at. Once the chairs did arrive they were FILTHY, completely filthy which then took even more time because the catering team had to stop and wipe them all down.
Once they were done with setting the ceremony chairs the caterer asked that the bar please be placed. Which in fact your team failed to secure the safety of the bar and one of the shelves unbeknownst to the caterer was unstable. With the combination of the unstable shelf and the fact that the wheels of the bar were not secured a set of glasses came crashing down and breaking.
Moving on to the cocktail tables, it was as if they did not know how to set them up. Apparently the poles were not fitting the bases and it took longer than it should have to set those up. Also, the cocktail tables were not the size I ordered so my linens did not fit properly on the tables.
The caterer then inquired about the sweetheart table which is when the driver then shared with them that they had forgotten it back at the warehouse. This is the table that the bride (me) and groom are suppose to share their first meal as husband and wife and it is non-existent. So again, my linens and center piece did not fit because we had to improvise and use a standard rectangle table which is not what I wanted what so ever.
By the time they finally got around to placing the chivari chairs for the reception the guests were already in the reception room as they were literally setting the chairs down and placing the glassware. Imagine our embarrassment, we were mortified.
Thankfully my caterer went above and beyond and hired to extra people to get the job done.
After the fact, when the caterer reached out to them to express our disappoints and explain to them how our wedding day was mismanaged and ruined beyond our control. All they were willing to do was credit her for a future order as if anybody would want to work with them again after an experience like that. Mind you our caterer recommended the rental company to us and this is how she is compensated in return. Please explain how a future credit does any good for us and our ruined wedding that we cant redo!

I have no moral dilemma in saying that this vendor almost ruined our wedding. We rented mahogany chiavari chairs from them to add something special to our wedding. Our ‘look’ and decorations all counted on the chiavari chairs as being part of it. The vendor agreed to deliver the chairs between 12pm and 3pm as our ceremony started at 6pm. At 5pm we get a call from our venue coordinator asking about the chairs as they had not been delivered. We promptly called Hitched and the person that picked up the phone initially acted like she had no idea what we were talking about and said they would call us back. She did not call us back and we had to continuously keep calling until we got a hold of her. That’s when she said they were on the way to being delivered. We were in the middle of taking our pre-ceremony pictures while this was taking place and the look of stress, anger, and frustration is evident on the bride’s face while we waited for news on the chairs. The chairs were finally delivered at 5:30 while guests were arriving. Just imagine that taking place at your wedding, that is the first thing guests will see.
If that would have been the end of it I would have given them a higher rating…but it was not. Half way through the reception we started getting complaints that the chairs were still wet with paint. The cuff of my brother in law’s shirt was ruined with the paint. The bride (and others) got paint on their hands from touching the chairs. Luckily it did not get on her dress as far as we can tell. Imagine a white wedding dress with mahogany paint all over it. We are still waiting to see what guests reach out to us to tell us that their attires were ruined as a result. What chair vendor in their right mind delivers freshly painted chairs late to an event?! apparently Hitched! The icing on top of the cake at the end of it all was their over zealous promptness in getting the chairs out of the event at the end of the night. For that part of it they were on time and even rude in kicking guests out of the way so they could get their carts through.

I hired Hitched Events and they are more than a furniture rental company, they ARE family. They don’t just give good service. They will go over and beyond for you. Noreen helped me select my furniture for my wedding AND she helped decorate the wedding. Where she saw a gap, she made sure to fill it. My wedding came out PERFECT thanks to Noreen and the Hitched Events company. They just moved their company to a new location and everything was/is in the moving process, despite that, everything made it to my wedding on time and she even ironed the table runners I bought for no additional cost and that is only one small detail of the many. THANK YOU SO MUCH HITCHED EVENTS!! I AM HAVING MY FUTURE BABY SHOWER, MY FUTURE EVERYTHING WITH YOU!! THANK YOUUUUU!!!
