Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami – Airport West

I recently stayed at this hotel for a stay of 6 days and it felt like HOME! The amenities at this hotel really had me feeling like i was at home. I was surprised to see a full fridge we were supplied with pots and pans and the even the plates glasses & silverware were a great quality! The staff was always pleasant and accomadating! I cant say enough. I cant wait to book my next stay 🏝🏖❤

We stayed at this hotel the night prior to our cruise and it was very nice. The shuttle to the hotel was easily accessible. We by called in letting the hotel know we had arrived and the shuttle was there to pick us up within 15 minutes the same as we were told on the phone. The rooms were clean and the evening social was a great addition to our stay. Free wine and beer with various snacks, and the breakfast in the morning had quite a few different hot and cold options. The shuttle to the cruise port was very affordable ($12 dollars per person) and was right on time to pick us up. We had options of an 11,12, or 1 o’clock pick-up time to go the port and it was about a half hour shuttle ride. The only small complaint I have is that the shuttle to the mall that is offered only leaves at 3 different times during the day and only picks up 5 hours, at least, after drop off. So if you went to the mall at 10 am you would not be able to be picked up until 3pm or so. Again, not a big deal to us but maybe to others. Overall I would recommend for an overnight stop before a cruise departure or if you were wanting to stay near the airport!

Very close to the airport but you hear very little noise. Free shuttle from the airport and to a local mall and Walmart. There are a few quick restaurants within walking distance. Evening social is not a full meal but is filling. Free breakfast has many hot and cold foods. This is our second stay and it’s just as nice as the first. Shuttle to the cruise port is $12 a person and you select which departure time of 11 am , Noon or 1 pm.

Humid hallways and rooms, but nice location for airport. Hallway unbearably humid and muggy at 81%. Inside room was slightly better, barely getting below 60%. Not a good place if you have allergies. Air was cool but wet/muggy. They may not run AC in hallway. Room was spacious and overall clean. Plenty of free parking shared with 2 adjacent hotels and hotel was very quiet.

Caroline, at the front desk, greeted me with a smile, and her great personality. She was incredibly kind and friendly to my 4 and 2 year old grandchildren. She graciously answered my questions. Caroline was just terrific. The property and rooms, are modern, clean, and well maintained. The bedroom has multiple units for charging all electronic devices. The lobby was charmingly decorated for fall, as were the breakfast area tables. The ladies who oversaw the breakfast area were also so friendly to the grandchildren. They were also quick to clear tables, and make sure the breakfast items were available. I highly recommend this hotel.
