Iggie’s Bait & Tackle

Worst bait shop I been too in a while. Took a chance because fishing location was near and didn’t have shiners besides the pot head behind the counter being 45 minutes late and we all know how timing works in the fishing world. Wouldn’t take the risk if your looking for a spot to get some quick bait. Looked around the store and man they charge you an extra 3 dollars above retail price. Rather go to Walmart than these guys and yes I took my time out my day to write this review because it isn’t fair to other fishermen. You guys suck. PIROS BAIT AND TACKLE IS THE SPOT TO GO TO.

Visiting from Tampa for an overnight, and only had a few hours in the morning to fish. With a little bit of research I found out the bait of choice to catch peacock bass are shiners. Other than that I had no idea what I was doing, and had picked a few spots I thought might hold fish off Google Maps with no other information. The gentleman at the counter was a younger fellow by the name of Michael, nevwr realizing how much knowledge this kid has. he was very helpful with hook selection, where to hook the bait, and also many other tips. I told him the area I scouted on Google Maps to fish, he asked for my phone and dropped a pin on the location where to go! He told me that was a good spot and was one of his go to spots also since it was the area I was scouting also. Nothing but good things to say ’bout Iggies. Thanks a ton Michael!!!!!
