La Shangrila Karaoke

Great place near campus to karaoke, however if you plan on drinking or eating its better to go to MSMR

I went there for my friend’s 22nd birthday and it was my first time there. We got a great rate as a group for a couple hours. The karaoke machine was easy to used and we got the hang of it pretty fast. Also I loved how the setting was so private and that I could enjoy myself in our own room. it was just a great experience. They also had dumpling appetizers to order and I would definitely go back.

This place has a pretty good summer special for karaoke! It is $15 per person on certain days plus whatever you decide to eat or drink (if you want to). The service is good too! I can’t wait to go back:)

This place is the worse. My cousin went last night to celebrate her birthday here and it was a horrible experience. The selection of music was good but not when some of the songs are being song by a Chinese person or the lyrics on the screen is faster than the beat. The food was the worst. I ordered chicken strips, fries and a lemonade. I received burnt chicken strips that was hard as a brick and they were cold no fries and an unsweetened lemonade that taste like water and like they just squeezed a lime in it not even a lemon. The menu what they give you is not the same when they bring it out false advertisement. When I ask to speak with the manager he came and I told him the food was burned he caught a attitude even about the lemonade. Now, I know how lemonade suppose to taste and that wasn’t it. My aunts and cousins ordered butterfly shrimp because of how it looked on the menu again false advertising. They gave them some miniature shrimp with some type of batter or something they must of added to it. We ask for water the glasses were dirty. My cousin ordered chicken wings and fries the chicken wings were burnt and the fries were cold. I don’t know what place the others who gave a review on this dump went to but it’s not true. It is horrible. I wish my cousin could’ve got a refund. I wish I didn’t even have to put a star because it deserves no stars. I understand everything that’s on a menu is not going to look the same but with their chicken strips and shrimp they went to far just ridiculous.

This is a very nice place for fun. That day is my birthday and we have almost 20 people there but not crowed at all. The room is large and beautiful and Chinese style. The food is very delicious. The waiter also prepared us birthday surprise by giving us a champagne with fireworks for free, which is so unforgettable. I love this place.
