The property managers are unprofessional. I am a tenant residing in one of their developments in Doral, however, I was never added to the resident e-mail listserv in spite of the fact that they collected my contact information when I first applied to move in to the neighborhood. Because of that, I missed a memo that cars needed to be moved from the guest parking spots in the street for construction last Friday and as a result my mother-in-law’s car was towed from in front of my home.

Obviously, I would have happily moved the car ahead of time had I been notified properly. When I contacted Vesta, they essentially said “we e-mailed your landlord so they should have told you.” My landlord lives in China, which can obviously make communication challenging. I requested they add my wife and me to the resident e-mail list so that we could avoid missing important announcements in the future, however, Ingrid Hazoury informed me that they are not willing to do this and that I need to “take it up with my landlord” rather than them communicating with me directly. This seems beyond unreasonable to me. There’s no reason all tenants shouldn’t be contacted directly with community announcements, ESPECIALLY if the landlord doesn’t reside in said community. The only excuse I can think of is laziness and a lack of empathy.

We were obviously highly upset about being towed, but what I find completely unacceptable is Vesta’s complete apathy and unwillingness to employ a fix as simple as adding us to an e-mail list in order to avoid this issue in the future. Certainly, there was a better solution available than “take it up with your landlord.”

Also of note, 4 of my neighbors were at the tow lot on Saturday morning with us to pick up their vehicles too. NONE of them received an e-mail from Vesta about needing to move their cars. Clearly, their method of disseminating announcements needs to be changed.

I highly recommend against moving to a neighborhood managed by Vesta Property Management.

This place is so beautifully done and the parking was nice and when you went inside the main building at the reception desk was really nice they had guards and would show you to the different parties and very clean and the view was spectacular the cabanas on one side of the pool plus having a water park style for the kids was awesome and having the scence to have a big shady place for the parents that don’t want to get any sun and all the comfort they had was just perfect I fell in love with this place it’s really very family oriented
