Linbis Logistics Software

You shouldn’t be paying thousands for a good logistics software. Linbis offers a strong solution for a fraction of the cost. Our third party logistics company, Cargo Dynamics Logistics, was searching for new freight forwarding software back in September 2018. We need freight forwarding software for ocean, air, and trucking shipments all over the world. We ended up choosing Linbis after a demonstration by Eric. Our first impression was that the software is more modern and user friendly than other software on the market. As well, Eric was helpful and seemed like the kind of person that would do what it takes to make it work for us. Another consideration was integration with Quickbooks. The last consideration is that the pricing is also fair.

We have been working with Eric since October 2018. Initially, we estimated that it would take 2 months for us to switch software. However, it has actually taken us about 4 months. The software had many shortfalls for our uses but every single one has been addressed personally by Eric. Eric made himself available to answer questions and have long meetings with us to make sure our needs were being met by the software. The meetings included telephone calls as well as screen share to work out bugs and for training purposes. Our company requested many changes to the software almost to the point that we received fully customized software in the end. Instead of our company adapting to the new software, Eric adapted the software to our company.

Eric and his team are also quite smart. They know their software well and you don’t have to carefully explain issues to them. You can start talking through a problem and they will “get” you right away. The chat feature on their website is also useful.

To be honest, we requested so many changes that at the beginning of the implementation, we were starting to feel a little unsure that the software would work. However, the Linbis team strived hard to make it work without once showing any frustration or problems with us.

Today, we have almost fully switched over to the software and are even in the stage of asking the Linbis team for software development above and beyond our initial contract for implementation of the core Linbis features. Within the past 6 months, we have also seen many useful upgrades that we did not request. These upgrades include “task tracking”, which allows us to assign and keep track of tasks related to shipments, the ability to email invoices through the software, and full multi-currency integration with QBO.
