They have awesome instructors!!!! I am feeling determined to get all the certs. I just want to be able to understand everything technology. So one day I will be able to provide something new to the future..

My time here has been great overall. My instructor was Luis who went above and beyond to ensure that every student understood what he taught, each and every night. Never have I seen such care and dedication from an instructor. Kara (front desk) was ALWAYS helpful and knowledgeable with when asked a question pertaining to the program and I some of the most overall positive people I’ve ever met. Every member of this staff is energetic and a pleasure to be around. I would tell anyone that they would be a fool not to partake in, and take full advantage of this program and the numerous opportunities they offer to help people advance in life via an IT career path. This program is what you make of it and so what you put in is what you’ll get out of it.

New Horizons is like anything in life, you get what you input into it. As an adult you have to strive and want to learn new skills, and if you are willing and eager then this may be a good fit. If you are expecting that you will not have to put in your individual effort on top of classroom time then you will be sorely disappointed. The certification process can be challenging, but what in life that is worth anything isn’t? We were very honored to have Dr. Luis Nogeral as our professor and he paved a way that enabled us to learn not only the theoretical but also practical hands on scenarios we would eventually face in the contemporary world. The staff is friendly, kind, and polite and if they see you truly trying to excel then they will provide their expertise even going as far as providing small group sessions on Saturdays. I came into the program without any IT experience and left with six certifications and am eager to get more. This alone lets you know that it is possible however you must be dedicated to improving who you are as a person.

When I lost my job of almost 9 years in August 2016, a friend and ex-student of New Horizon recommended me to go to the school and meet Ruben Aguilera to know more about the IT programs and materials given at the center. Since then, my whole perspective of life and work did a 180 grades change. I began in this school in September 2016 and finished the course in February 2017. At the very beginning was really hard because my work was related to databases, QA and programming. In addition languages barriers, classes the whole week until late, studying, frustrations, doubts. I remember my first day in the school when our instructor Dr. Luis Noguerol told us to work as a group. I did a close circle of classmates and friends to share those months, study guides, videos, test, ideas, and points of views. We had a great group, veterans, civilians, American, Chinese, Colombian, Cuban, but at the end, all of us eager to learn the path of an IT professional. Today, I can proudly said that I’m an A+ and Network+ Certified. None of this would have been possible if I had not lost my job, if no one recommended me the school, if I wouldn’t have had the support of my instructors Dr. Luis Noguerol and Luis Barreiros. To Noguerol thank you for always trusting us, for always giving us the extra mile and for your example of an excellent professional. Luis Barreiros thank you always for being there to clarify any doubt, for his support as an instructor, for his love, for his advice and even for his delicious coffee !!! Thanks to the push of Ruben Aguilera and their confidence in what they do, the love and unconditional support of Martha and their willingness to always help. Thanks also to the support of my family and friends, without them it would not have been possible either. I am glad to be part of the New Horizon students and I recommend to all of those who want to educate themselves in the field of telecommunications, to consider this center in one of their first options, they are going to gain a new family, confidence in yourself, thousands of new opportunities, knowledge and a million new horizons. Thanks New Horizon for both! This is just the beginning. Sometimes a door is closed and the entire universe is opened!! The key is to believe!!!
