Nicklaus Children’s Doral Urgent Care Center

Have waited an hour for an appointment. Makes no sense, I would have just not got an appointment to begin with. The appointment I chose was also the only available appointment.

Apparently this place charges 2 co pays for every visit. So you will pay one when you’re seen and then a few months later they bill you another copay for the same visit. Their excuse? Well…. they can charge a copay for the facility and another copay for the physician. They both bill separately. Ridiculous! Had to call the insurance and their billing department many times over the course of almost a year. I regret going here. If you have private insurance go elsewhere cause they will charge you double the copay, one for the facility and another for the provider.

Very unhappy with my visit. I took my newborn daughter to urgent care. She was looked at by Dr. Yurelis H Garcia Miras. I explained everything that was going on with my daughter. The doctor did no test on her and based her diagnosis on my baby’s cry. The doctor told me she had meningitis, a very deadly viral infection. She called an ambulance to have us transported to the main hospital. When we get there, they ran a few test and it came out to be acid reflux.

Everyone was very efficient and so pleasant. Office was so clean and state of the art and parking great.
My husband got excellent care on a Saturday as he needed to see a doctor.
Would definitely recommend Nicklaus Children’s Doral Urgent Care Center in the Marketplace Center.

From the moment we arrived and to the end was great. Thank you Giselle and William for making our visit very welcoming and the good laughs with William! Great sense of humor.
Even to my daughter room 5, Giselle added Welcome Ma****n on the bed sheets. I thought that was super cute! Thank you.
