I went in to do a blow dry the lady in the front at that moment clocked out. When she said that I told her if anything I can come back after work since I get out at 6pm since I didn’t have much time during my lunch break. As she was washing my hair she went the whole back of the uniform and my sweater. I also said I’m paying with debit card. The lady Maria still did my hair knowing I didn’t have much time. After she did my hair I waited 20mins to see if she can clock in so I can pay with my debit card. She said I couldn’t so she went with me to go to the ATM next to Macy’s and mind you I was already late to clock back in for my break. This was a HUGEEE inconvenience for me having to go to an ATM and then go back to work late from my lunch break doing this when I said from the beginning what I had to pay and still did the work. Don’t get me wrong I like how my hair came out but over all visit was a HUGEEE inconvenience. This is the first time I give a bad review for a hair salon.

Asked the price for a trim for my daughter and was quoted $20, and had to wait quite awhile for the hairdresser to return from another shop in the mall. I explained what I wanted to the hairdresser and provided a photo; when asked if I wanted the longer top portion blended with the shorter hair lower on my daughter’s head, I told her there was no need for that, as I would trim the undercut myself at a later time. So of course she trims the undercut. I said that no, we didn’t need a blow-dry when asked, and by the time she asked if she could shampoo my daughter’s hair, I had gotten tired of being ignored and told her to go for it. I’m not sure what she used to fade my daughter’s hair color so completely. Long story short, she barely cut anything off the part of the hair I wanted trimmed to begin with, seemed disinclined to correct it when I said that I had expected a shorter cut, blow-dry styled it anyway, and charged $27 for the cut and shampoo. She was really great with my daughter, who enjoyed herself, but was a poor listener who didn’t give me any of the things I had asked for.

Approximately 4 years ago i started coming to this regis, i originally would see a lady who eventually opened her own salon and since then (2 years ago) i have tested waters with the other stylist there. None of them have shown me that they are well rounded with hair but none have also messed up my hair. Granted i only go once every 6 months. The last time i went was December and i had a lady whom i have seen but never dealt with do my hair. My hair practically reached my bottom lets just say because of the damage that she caused to my hair my hair is now shoulder length. My hair was literally dead after her to the point that when i would wash it, it smelled like fire. My hair is my pride and she destroyed it. I didnt get her name and maybe i just happen to be the unlucky one because again the rest arent SO bad but that experience is more than enough for me to say NEVER AGAIN
