I was able to ship some furniture and few boxes to Madrid from my apartment in Brooklyn. I though I was going to have to leave these items behind, but I did take a chance and see what the prices were to actually move my stuff with me. In the end I payed a little over $2100 on the US side and an additional $600 in Spain. This was less than I expected and the prices were decently explained to me based on the overall size of the items. Because of this I was able to shed some items and bring the cost down. I have my furniture here with me and am using it now, so overall it went as expected.

Very bad communication. Took them 2 months to send a car from the US to Europe. Then, they ask for more money. Nightmare.

I am going through hell with these clowns. They have my car somewhere in Germany. Worse, the title was supposed to be sent to me while car was in transit but idiots don’t read the file and shipped the title to somewhere in Germany too. As of now my car and its title are unaccounted for. They only answer the phone if it is a new sales call so I have to use burner numbers to get them to answer. Take out PLENTY of INSURANCE if you ship with them.

This company had horrendous communication regarding the shipping time frames and expectations I should have, they were blatanly rude, unorganized, and everywhere I turned I got a different response or answer. They were rude unprofessional and disrespectful. I cannot recommend using anyone else enough! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!

Not happy and would encourage you to consider alternatives. I shipped two cars from Miami to Rotterdam in one dedicated 40ft container. It took a while for them to arrive, however when all was cleared and handed over to their Dutch companion, there has been a clear mistake made. Where my BMW was inside, my wife’s car was not. It ended up in Austria (probably got mishandled in the port of Miami) and took weeks to get recovered. In all 3.5 months. Despite of SCL’s promises to provide compensation, I have never heard back from them. Cars are now here. Undamaged. But very poor customer service. Not recommended.
