This is the worst company in the whole security industry i have ever work for, its unbellieveable to see how far you got to go to get your paycheck. These managers calling people phone at whatever time they feel like it to come cover for someone else. They callling my phone 1am 2am 3am ect… i cant believe this waste company.

Abusive company. I had a hard time getting my paycheck because they decided to give me the run around, now they are refusing to mail my tax return. They also lied about getting direct deposit so dont waste your time waiting on them if you decide to work there. Let me say, first day starting manager lied and told me some woman named Raven at Dadeland Grove was the supervisor, and she lied and went along. Last day I got fired for being sick and they never told me. Then they hired her cousin and told me to train him, I know right? Terrible. The actual road supervisor Berry told me to go home after I called him, meaning that he was in on it too. The company refused to pay me for the hour I worked with the guy, so good thing while I was there I took pictures of the sign in sheet, and wrote down my time. So they had to pay me! As on right now I am recieving thousands of dollars of unemployment from these folk right now, so now I get paid even as I sleep.

was e-mailed to come in for An interview from 10 AM to 1 PM i arrived on Thursday 01/02/2020 at 11:36 dressed professionally and with resume in hand the receptionist was professional least i can say for some of the person in the waiting area . as i sat at the far end of the room by door i can hear the staff in side say that that was it for inter views and it was only 12:20 PM Thursday 2, 01/02/2020 the receptionist came out and called out some ones name and said u and u pointing at other persons and said the rest of u can come back tomorrow . one girl got up and complained . i just sat there in shook and . observed i got up and started to go but i turned around went up to the receptionist desk and asked the receptionist for my resume back she complied and said are u coming back tomorrow i did not say anything and walked away it looks to me that this company is not as professional as they claim . it should be an embarrassment for the owner to even post his company on any web site making claims but what do you want many companies in south florida that work security are under paying and forcing overtime on employees by threatening to take their license but a simple report to the BBB. and a report to the florida Department of agriculture will put them in check.. and p.s A report to the department of labor . but this is my real thought on S M I SECURITY FROM ALL THE REVIEWS I HAVE READ . i thank you for the interview that never took places . i thank you for wasting my time but . i rely thank you for showing that your company is not worth the time or the effort. and yes i am a real security officer with over 20 years of experiences telling you this and telling all the world about how low you treat your employees i read nothing but bad reviews about your company after my personal experiences about . after my interview that never took places. i think your license is the one that should be pulled ……..

The staff are incredible! I’ve been in the Security industry for about ten years and have worked for plenty of different companies and by far Smi Security has been the best company I have worked for. Been with this company for 3 years now. They pay well. The company pays holiday, sick days and as well as vacation. Always pays on time and correctly and if some reason they make a mistake on your paycheck they fix it right away.They have a variety of sites including residential, warehouses and shopping centers. Armed and unarmed positions. They have sites all throughout South Florida ranging but not limited to from west palm beach to Florida City. The hours are great and are willing to work around your schedule if possible. There is room for growth and advancement within the company. The managers and supervisor are always there for when you need help with any problem you run into. Will gain a lot of different experience working with this company.
