Staybridge Suites Miami Doral Area

Loved my stats here and will continue going unless they change for the worse. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to hotels and when my previous favorite was sold and started going downhill with cleanliness and how you are treated and my sister new items were stolen, so my family and I looked elsewhere. We spent over 3 hours driving up and down looking for hotels that accommodated all of us, felt safe, was clean and was near major stuff or a easy drive. We came across this place by a recommendation of the hotel next door because the other one was full (wrong time of year for walk ins lol). We were so amazed by the updated homey feel. The room had a large kitchen and we were willing to pay for the space. But yet it wasn’t too expensive. They have a basketball court and sitting area, which we used the heck out off.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Great spacious room with kitchenette. Clean. Breakfast was good. Just what we needed before our cruise. Has washer and dryers for free. (Can purchase detergent there) Will definitely come back again. Only negative is the plane noise but you get use to it.

between both FLL and MIA airports.
Hot breakfast, but NOT what is pictured online by the hotel.
Service was fine.

Smelled like mold
Found mold up and down the walls in the shower.
Room was NOT clean and smelled like wet dog.
The breakfast area is small. I recommend getting down there EARLY or you will not have a place to sit.
Hotel overall smelled terrible.

Great one night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast had good variety and was well prepared. Staff waa friendly and very helpful. Location was in walking distance to City Center. Only complaint is they need better signage to find the front door.

The hotel is constantly out of items for breakfast. The doors are paper thin I could hear a mouse whisper in the hallway. I picked it because of its location and it’s a great location. But obviously the staff doesn’t care enough to keep the items stocked for breakfast, I see two of them standing at the front desk but no one around the breakfast area. I pick places that include a free breakfast so I don’t have to go and get a breakfast. But I’m going to be here 8 days and I have yet to enjoy the breakfast because it’s constantly missing something. I’m not sure if it’s just poor staffing, poor training, or just people who don’t care about their job. But whatever it is obviously from management down they don’t care because they’re not doing the little things.
