TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral Area

Average hotel. I was staying in the area for one night and the price was good. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The interior could use an upgrade. It is a decent low budget hotel so don’t go there expecting a Ritz atmosphere.

Beds a really comfortable, but the second room is pretty small.
The front desk is extremely friendly and nice!!!

Stayed here with family and I gotta say it’s a cozy place to stay, it’s right next to Dolphin Mall, everything is relatively close. The suites are well equipped and everything is in its place. Only downside is the sheets for the pull out couch were all stained with what looked like either coffee, or pee. If you ask for new ones they’ll be really nice about it though, good staff.

The rooms had a smell and the toilet cover was very loose and we inform the front desk but no reaction. As I only stayed for 2 nights and was most of the time not in the hotel I managed it. Not my type of hotel. The breakfast was not bad.

The first room I was placed in was not yet cleaned and smelled musty. I asked to change rooms. The second room had an intense smell of mold and was also musty which I then presumed all rooms in the building would have. I asked the front desk for support and they said they would send maintenance the next day. It smelled better the next day but only temporarily which tells me they covered the mold issue up with a deodorizer or spray. I was so happy to leave that hotel and would never have stayed there on my own if it wasn’t that work had assigned me there. I give it two stars because check in was great, breakfast was organized and great, it was simply the cleanliness and maintenance in the rooms that was gross. I left there having a cough and I would never stay there again.
