U-Pack

The most cost effective movers for an interstate move. We hired guys at each end to pack and unpack the van. The communication and support provided by both the Macon, GA and Delray Beach, FL was EXCELLENT! I regularly called for either help making a payment, or determine when to pickup/drop off, etc. We had a difficult situation with our house purchase falling through during the pandemic, and the support staff helped us figure out storage until we could by a different house. Super patient. Even getting an invoice I needed for reimbursement before a certain date, they took initiative and were proactive. Customer service was excellent compared to most business nowadays. They showed up when they said they would and picked up truck when they said. Drivers were extremely polite and both requested either a pickup or drop off of the ramp when we used the entire truck. They took the time to educate me on why a parking location was better than another. My only slightly negative statement is that they underestimated the amount of space we would use in the truck, during our initial call. I knew that would be the case since we had 25 yrs worth of stuff. Even with professional loaders, we used the entire 26’ of space, and had to leave a little behind.
I had preshopped PODS, United & Allied- all looking for a self pack type move. ABF/Upack was cheapest & best overall (their storage costs are a little more expensive than PODS). I have used them for 2 interstate moves: 2005, 2020. Well done & thank you!!!

Recently we moved from MIA to CO and I was surprised how everything went so smoothly. Not a 5 stars because the salesperson told me that 2 relucubes could easily fits my 2 bedrooms and that’s was very inaccurate. The cubes are very small. We ended up adding, on the last minute, 1 more cube or we would lose half of our furniture. Also, the movers /helpers are very nice and they tried to “puzzle” my stuff as much as they could. Besides that, very nice overall and would use again.

Ordered a U-pack relocube a few days before having it delivered. Customer service on the phone was excellent and the delivery guys were super punctual and polite upon drop-off and pick-up. It was a seamless transition. It really couldn’t have been easier to do. Using U-pack is something my family and I would definitely do again.
I fit a king size 14″ mattress, 55″ TV, washer and dryer on pedestals, a twin size bed with a frame, and all the clothes, books and miscellaneous items, etc and had some room to spare after it was all said and done. When family first saw the cube they didn’t think it would all fit. You’d be surprised what you can fit in those things when packed correctly!

I had a unpack/ReloCube delivered to Ft Lauderdale from MN. These cubes are very study and well built. Everyone I talked to both in FL and MN was very responsive to my questions. The drivers, dropping off and picking up the cubes were super nice and accommodating. They were the true hero’s in my move.

Great customer service over the phone, they reassure your stuff fits within the dimension they give you for your estimate but once you see the size of the 5linear feet , for sure not enough space, and let’s not talk about the size of a relocube. The sales personnel should take a course first about dimensions and then take on the job. On the other hand, they will charge you for unused space because it’s where they will place the wall in the trailer that divides your belonging from the other items they fill up the rest of a trailer , did I mention that fee is $162 x square feet. If you need to move look around other companies or record your conversation , which I will be doing from now on on whatever services I need in a future.
