Veterans Park

I’m visiting from out of town and found this park on Google. This park is operated by the City of Doral. It’s a nice neighborhood park with a beautiful entrance, paver walkways, an information station, nice landscape that offers some shade, picnic tables with built in checker boards, a water fountain, parking lot, open grass area for play, benches, and a nice playground. The area was very well maintained. Staff or contractors were pressure cleaning the pavers as I arrived. There are a couple of memorials dedicated to our Veteran’s. Overall it’s a beautiful park. I’m rating 4 stars because the shaded cover that is supposed to be over the play area is not currently up and the play area was very hot. The shaded area was the primary reason I chose to visit this park and was very disappointed when I arrived to learn that it wasn’t up. Overall, it’s a beautiful park and well maintained.
