I hired them through Amazon to replace attic fans with new solar fans purchased through Amazon. I hired them because Amazon claims to have vetted them, they are insured and licensed. 18 months later I start getting roof leaks damaging my ceilings. Every professional roofer that came to give me an estimate to fix the leaks said the same thing. The fans were installed completely incorrectly and were the cause of the leaks. When they showed me the difference in how they should have been installed and the way they were it was evident the installer had no clue what he was doing. I hired them to replace three fans. They remove the old and placed the new over the hole in the roof but on top of the shingles.They then nailed through the shingles and cover the edges with gallons of sealant. Everything seemed fine until after 18 months of baking in the south Florida sun the sealant became dry, brittle and shrunk. Now all the edges of the fans are exposed directly into the attic space. I have called and emailed and sent photos to any place tech. They refuse to do anything even going so far as to pretending to put me on hold to transfer me to a manager for over an hour. Amazon claims that they are insured yet both Amazon and Any Place Tech refuse to reveal the name of the insurance company, or any licenses they hold with the state or county. STAY AWAY

Booked the guy to come do some work through Amazon. He showed up for that, and since we forgot to buy the controller, he agreed to come back. Texted with him back and forth telling him that the controller arrived, and he’s supposed to show up on Saturday. I text him to confirm a day ahead of time, and get no response. On the day of the work, he doesn’t show up, and doesn’t call. Unreliable!!

This company was recommended through Amazon for the installation of a washer and dryer. They called me the morning of the appointment at about 11:30 AM, and left me a voicemail because I was in a meeting. By the time I got out of my meeting, I called them for 3 hours straight to no answer at the main office number or the technician’s cell phone. It’s now almost 5 o’clock and still no answer. I had to pay $50 to my condo to reserve the loading dock for the unit removal, and now I just wasted that money. Do not use this company, completely unreliable

I wish I had read the reviews before choosing them cause you can see they regularly do this to people. Shameful.

Long story short: Any Place TECH stole from me, and faked my signature on the invoice, for a service that never took place.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I ordered a hard drive installation from Amazon prime, and “Any Place TECH” was selected to be the provider for this service. The technician cancelled my appointment date, and told me he had to reschedule – but would not respond to me when I asked about a reschedule time. No communication.

A day after the appointment was originally supposed to take place, I cancelled it – I contacted Amazon, and sent a text message to the technician at Any Place, to inform them of my cancellation.

A day later, my card was charged $50.00 by Amazon for a hard drive installation that never occurred – the technician FAKED MY SIGNATURE on the invoice! Unbelievable. I just got off the phone with my credit card company, the $50.00 is credited back to me and my card is being cancelled and replaced – what a hassle! Absolutely disgusted with this whole experience.
