Ashoka Indian Restaurant Miami

This place is worth a try. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Constantly well organized and with fantastic vibes. Would recommend to others.

I went for lunch and they had a buffet.

I was hungry, but I’m usually wary of a buffet. Nothing on the menu stood out to me though, and I wanted to try everything.

The buffet had a few good options, but I wasn’t super in love with the food.

It was a good deal though for all your can eat and the place was big and had great decor.

The staff and was very kind, and quick.

Ashoka was okay.

It is good for an Introduction to Indian cuisine.

The buffet offers your most common or traditional dishes like Butter chicken, dal (lentils), tandoori, etc. But since it is done for everyone it cannot be too seasoned or too spicy.

Therefore, most dishes are on the safe side. There is some chutneys and spicy sauce that you can add to your meal at the buffet but I personally prefer it when it is fully seasoned and spiced up from the kitchen. But don’t get me wrong the food is flavorful and the restaurant is a nice place… very clean and spacious. Service was excellent at lunch time. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered a beer and it was super cold which is a nice surprise when that happens.

Great place, good value and good drinks.

Girls and team gave us best service. Food was great and price was right. Rest room was neat and clean. Restaurant atmosphere was great. There was plenty of parking. I had friends from Texas and Michigan, they both like it. We appreciate all team members in the restaurant. 4 people brought food at same time. Restaurant has a great team work. We appreciate you.

My husband and I were in the mood for good Indian food, and we wanted to try a new place and found Ashoka to have very wonderful reviews. I’m so glad we’re going this incredible authentic Indian restaurant!

When we walked in, we were promptly seated, the first thing I noticed was how big and spacious the space was. I do have one negative comment about the space, and it is that there was no ambiance music. I believe that ambiance music is very needed in such a big space. All you could hear was people talking and some television speakers that really did not work.

Our waiter was evidently professional and attentive. Our food was exquisite. We had an appetizer that was made out of cauliflower that was exceptional. My lamb chops were heavenly, they came in a flavorful, rich creamy sauce. Our dessert was also delicious.

Needless to say, I can’t wait to go back!!!
