On the phone, I was referred to a gentleman who was in charge of independent living program, but he was incompetent and did not provide any real helpful information and hanged up the phone when he had reached so far into incompetentville that there was no return. The staff needs some better customer service training..

ive been baker acted and taken here. some of the employees are nice, but some arent. place is cold. like really cold (carry a jacket without strings).. the food there is disgusting, the beds are hard, the atmosphere is somewhat alright and clean, but the front desk people are rude, my father came and asked for me, and they said “how may i help you” like im some sort of their property. ever since my experience from here, i decided to not be suicidal so i dont ever come back here.

Going to Citrus Health is like traveling to a third world country. Nurse practitioners pass themselves of as doctors. They refuse to talk to their patients on the phone but will blab a patient’s health history to anyone else who’ll listen. They do not take ownership of their mistakes and instead endanger their patients lives. It is a place for poor people and it’s poorly funded. But if they’re going to provide subpar care, they should close their doors.

Extremely poor service overall. While the employees at the front desk are somewhat polite it seems that no one in the center has a sense of urgency. Upon arrival you will find many people distressed and fatigued in the overly cramped waiting room. Aside from the level of stress one first arrives to at this mental health care facility, the flow of patients doesn’t seem to be consistent instead it is intermittent. Extended periods of time seem to go by with a myriad of employees pacing back and forth through the seemingly empty hallways of this antiquated facility. The overall environment is extremely unprofessional and the patients personal time does not seem to be the priority here.
