Consulate General of Honduras

What a horrible service facility , it states is open but once you go to the office is close please update the information people do work you know !!

We arrived at 3 and the lady wouldn’t open the door and said it was closed, when it says it closes at 3:30. They closed the door in our faces because they let someone else in 10 seconds before us. This consulate is an embarrassment, what type of government office closes at 3:30 and only opens 2 hours on a Wednesday? This is why the country is how it is, the workers don’t want to work, when they should be representing the government. An embarrassment, truly.

As i went today with a friend who was getting some paperwork done and although everything else went well, I was rudely greeted by a young woman at window 2 named Ana Cortes. She had the worst attitude and after I asked her a simple question instead of replying and offering good customer service she replied in Spanish with “Can’t you read?”. I am very disappointed and can not understand why you would have someone with such a disgusting attitude dealing with clients. other than that everything was handled properly but she is the worst part of the consulate.

Website doesn’t work!!! We need our passport asap; is there another way we can get an appointment?? People have emergencies ; no one answered the phone ; website doesn’t work; can someone help please?

Seems to be organized and the service is friendly and quick when compared to other similar consulates around the world. A pleasant surprise.
