Dr De Santis is outstanding. Our mom has an very complicated brain tumor and has many specialists and we have many questions about her care and Dr De Santis always takes the time to explain things carefully. He never seems in a rush or acts like our questions are dumb. We don’t wait too long to see him and he is extremely personable. We highly recommend him.

This has got to be the worst experience of my life. I am writing this review at 4 am because my sugar has been low the entire night. I had my appointment on August 9th and still have not been able to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy for a new machine, test strips and lancets. I’ve called over 6 times. I received a call back yesterday (August 22) only for the lady to tell me I had to wait 48 hours more because she had too many patients and were too busy to send my prescription. I explained to her that it was an emergency for me and I needed to check my sugar and needed my prescription. I explained that my appointment was August 9th and still wasn’t able to check my sugar because the correct prescription wasn’t sent. She told me she was going to send it and she never did! On August 9 they had first sent a prescription for test strips that my insurance doesn’t cover. I asked them August 9 to make sure those were the correct strips and they told me yes, they were sure just to hurry up and get me out of the office. It took forever for them to send the prior authorization form to my insurance (Avmed). I literally had to go into the office during work hours to see if they would help me and still nothing! I am a single mother with two kids in law enforcement. I do not receive food stamps or Medicaid or child support. I cannot continue to spend 50 for strips when I can be paying less because I pay for my insurance every month to pay less for my diabetes supplies!!! I am calling another Endo tomorrow because these people do not care!!!!! I am extremely appalled at the unprofessional incompetent staff they have here! Ailec also promised me a FMLA form for my job and it’s been over two months and still nothing. They have made me promises and each time I come in they give me a sorry excuse that it will be done “next week”. The worst of the worst! Stay away from these people that are quick to get you out of the office because they have too many patients and too busy! You can’t even get in contact with the office itself when you call, it’s an answering service. They call you back two days later!

If you are a Testosterone patient do not waist your time going there, he will make you stay off prescription for two months to see if your body produces T, even if your labs results shows low T he will not prescribe you Testosterone, he will give you Clomid and if your insurance does not covers it you will end up seeking another endocrinologist… three months lost doing this experiment…

The office is located in a good place with free and comfortable parking and with elevator. The attention before the consultation is very good. It’s my first time with an endocrine and I must say that the method and patience that the doctor had to explain to me what I needed to know and to answer all my questions was absolutely great.
