I have had the most terrible experience with Guillermo Martinez, et al. Be careful- he operates under different companies to try to confuse costumers. The companies I have found to be related are: FairWorks, Appliance Service Miami, Mr. Appliance of East Miami, Miele Appliance Repair, Miele Repair Miami, GM Appliance Repair, GM Appliance Services, GM Air Conditioning and Appliance Services, GM AC & Apple Service Repair, but there may be more. These people scammed us in many ways and refused to make things right even though we have records and video footage from our security cameras of everything. We first called because our freezer suddenly stopped working and our microwave/combo oven (all Miele built-in appliances) had been having issues. They came and gave a very high quote. After my husband spoke to Tania at FairWorks (most awful costumer service person ever), she said if we paid in full that day we would get a 20% discount. We have two babies and really need a functioning freezer, so my husband agreed and gave his credit card number even though the amount was really high (almost $3k!!). They proceeded to vacuum under the freezer and “fixed” it in a matter of seconds. We later realized from security footage the nanny had accidentally flipped a power switch we didn’t know existed and how they “fixed” it was flipping the power back on. This is nothing short of robbery.
They promised the oven would be back in 10 days. A month later I called asking for it and was hung up on 5 times. Finally somebody told me it was impossible because they don’t take appliances home. This is when I got upset and looked at the security camera videos and realized they have scammed us from the beginning. They never even discounted the 20% when I checked the AmEx records. Finally after escalating the issue, Laura Martinez Furniel started helping. The microwave was back in a week. Except after $3k it didn’t even work!!!! They were super condescending and assured me I wasn’t working it properly. Guillermo and Edwin had to return to fix it again. They gave me back a broken oven. Now, even with video footage, they refuse to make things right and are saying the never offered 20% off. Laura agreed we should be reimbursed what we paid for the freezer and asked me to disputed all of the charges on American Express but mail her a check for the oven!! This whole experience has been unbelievable. I would never, ever recommend these scammers. It’s been one lie and scam after another. STAY FAR AWAY.
