As a patient I am a victim of this company’s practices. They refuse to reimburse my provider the 200$ i am supposed to get toward my toric lenses . Since the provider does not want to bother to deal with these individuals I am facing a 200$ extra liability. Deserve zero stars.

They pay 50% of the sent claims and find some bogus excuse or none for the rest. The worst company to deal with. Because they are a third party patients are not even aware how much their benefits are watered down. This is an example of doctors ( owners of icare) exploiting other doctors.

My office has had so much trouble being a provider for this company. They offer training, but, Michelle, who is the only one who is able to train offices on how to bill their very outdated and strange system. After a few missed appointments – without so much as a phone call or email to reschedule – I was able to pin her down for training. All of this AFTER I had made attempts to submit claims, because our office was due to be paid. The claims were entered incorrect, because their system is unlike any I’ve billed. We were told that all of the incorrect claims would be corrected by their office and we would be paid correctly. We still have not been paid according to our written agreement. We have performed exams and dispensed materials to patients and have yet to be properly compensated by Icare. I’ve called and emailed and am still waiting for a response. I have asked to speak with managers and/or department heads and have been unable to get through. For all providers considering Icare as an option, I would not recommended doing so … Unless you’re in the business of losing money.
