This is how small business gets bought out by big business. This father and son are examples of why the south hates the north (sadly it still exists) This is why GOOD PEOPLE, god fearing people are losing their jobs. This is why young men that started here 45 years ago and have worked their way up from the warehouse to management still existed till them. (The current owners) The reason small guys felt appreciation was from this originally family owned firm. The original owner and his sons had a vision. And if you lived in south Florida from the late seventies to the late two thousands and worked in the service industry you KNEW who DADE PAPER was. As the years went by competition came. Dade Paper stayed a huge pillar due to the personal relationships that had been built in the community. DP had offices all over the United States and in the PR. Most of the people that called this company home stayed years or even lifetimes in work years. The owner was a family man and truly put his employee first. He paid for food to cover funeral services for his workers to make their challenging time more tolerable. He throw magnificent Christmas parties all in the hopes to stay connected with the families that sacrificed for him. He cared DEEPLY for the people that helped him make his business what it is today. HE CARED. He was a leader. He was a true American small business owner. He was a father that left his business to his sons. That is the American dream after all. The people that worked for him may not have been millionaires but they enjoyed their jobs and felt like a family. Sadly he passed. As with all family owned small businesses when the children take over they have their own vision of what will be. The two sons that took over after the founder died did not have the heart the dedication to the field like their father and colleagues like him. As time goes on we all have to evolve. All businesses have to evolve or they just end.

The company was bought out buy a father son team from New Jersey. That being said …. the Tillis family immediately put profit before people. They had been at the helm of this family run business for less than a year and everything changed.
No longer was there family Christmas parties or company picnics. No longer was the average man that worked his way up from a warehouse worker welcome. Instead there was mass quitting and the end of all family values. And due to the fact that they are a FAMILY it makes it even more tragic.

Only in America can a man spend his entire life working for a company that lets him know in his late years that his life’s work is not welcomed, not appreciated, not valued. We all can not become CEOs. We will always need someone to answer his phone, clean his shirts, mop his floors or run his business for decades without appreciation. But at what time do the CEOs realize they are not GODS and there are REAL peoples lives they are tossing to the side!

A company that doesn’t stand behind the products it sells. They insist even after a demonstration, the rep said quote nothing wrong with the product. The fly spray just sprayed white foam in the air.
So suggest staying away from a company that is like a dictatorship and they are always right.

I read all reviews prior to get to this location. I arrived for delivery by 1.00 am, having the appointment @ 8.00am. By 6.30 am I was assigned a dock. Backed in by 6.50 am.
It is 12.20 pm now and they said that they will do their best to finish up by 3.00 pm.
NOT A PLACE TO COME TWICE!
