La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miami Airport West

Don’t come to this hotel. Very poor service and without any respect with their guests. Simply canceled the shuttle bus service from MIA and without any notice. We took notice only calling the front desk who was like talking with a robot and the same guy who did our check in badly and without any courtesy or helping. Gave us a 3rd floor room and even helped us with 6 big luggages, no room service, nothing in the fridge even water!!!, also no leaflets from any food delivery or just a phone or recommendation…we were and still are very disappointed since we are staying at this hotel until tomorrow….no cancellation refund then we are staying here and waiting to change hotel tomorrow.

Great location, near interstates and highways. Lots of very good restaurants in the neighborhood to choose from. Clean quiet area. Hotel was very clean with lots of parking space. Breakfast was the same everyday with very few varieties. Tea & coffee served all day. Staff was friendly with attentive people making sure that breakfast items were replenished as soon as they run out. Fast internet. Not too many cable channel choices though.

Great location and updates were being made throughout. My cousin had a bug in her room and they promptly changed her room. Would stay here again.

First a shout out for keeping the hotel pet friendly. For a low priced hotel the clientele is nice, mostly families and cruise line transfer passengers. There are some restaurants and a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Staff is friendly. Could be cleaner and fresher. Room tended to be warm at night even with AC cranking. They were always running out of coffee at breakfast. A staff member said their coffee maker is malfunctioning. More airport noise than you would expect. Perfectly fine for a short stay and better than many pet friendly hotels.

Clean and adequate. Very comfortable king bed obtained after persistence. Nice to be able to open windows. Surprisingly far from Miami Airport for American Airlines’ “go to” lodging vendor. Van ride was bumpy but Uber was readily obtained for comfortable return trip. Amenities such as Ice Makers poorly maintained and out of order signage limited. Phone to get desk assistance went unanswered.
