The absolute worst customer service representatives I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life… never resolve the real root of the problem
And there solution to everything is turn your phone off and back on …. embarrased I even chose there service.

When I first got Straight Talk phone service, I had no issues. About 1 year into having the service, my phone started having connection issues in certain parts of town that I had normally had service at before (phone just kept dropping service saying no service and going back in service as I was in a moving vehicle 4-5 times causing my voicemail notification to keep going off.) Then, as time went on, more and more places that I had service before I had no service in or it would drop and come back on about every 30 seconds ad I was in a moving vehicle. I was getting irritated so I called customer service and was transferred to tech support for hours. They told me it was my phone and that all the towers in and around where I live were perfectly fine. I knew it wasn’t my phone but still more time went on and as it did I was having more and more issues with my service going in and out, and then I had no service in my own home at all. So I called tech support again, spent another few hours on the phone and said I needed a new SIM card. So after waiting a full week for a new SIM card, I received it and put it in the phone and called and activated it. Still the same issues, ONLY WORSE no service at all. I had a little data but could not make or receive calls. After that, I could not take it anymore. I called tech support one last time and the girl said everything is correct in their systems and she didnt know why it was not working at all. I told her I was not going to buy a new phone like the last rep advised and I’d be looking into a different phone service provider. Then she told me that their service basically sucks and that was just a way Straight Talk tries to get you to lease a phone from one of their business partner’s. They make profits off each phone that is leased when it set up as their service provider. So, the very next day I went down and had mu service set up with Cricket Wireless. Immediately the phone and data worked perfect and has for 3 months. After I realized what an easy fix that was (only cost me $25 extra as a connect fee and $60 for the service that is unlimited talk, text and data. That was the best $85 I ever spent and was way cheaper then leasing one of their phones.) I’m mad at myself for dealing with the B.S. all that time with no help at all, what so ever from Straight Talk with the issue. I should have switched when the issue first started. All I can say is, quit wasting your money people and go with a phone service provider that will actually give you the phone service you pay for and the tech support you need when you run into issues.
