Pediatric Associates Doral

Dr. Iglesias was kind and patient with my son. Their staff are exceptional as well! Teedra, M.A., was informative and answered all my questions. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a new pediatrician clinic!

Dr. Iglesias is great with both my daughters! 10 stars for this doctor and her nurse is the best ever! She took her time with my baby and her earrings and vaccines! (Teedra!) Awesome!

There are so many things wrong with this office. First, they have no toys in the waiting room! No toys for the kids to play or entertain themselves while they wait for the doctor. This would not be such a big deal if one did not have to stay over an hour in the waiting room to see a doctor, and once you go inside the doctor’s office, you still have to wait over 30 minutes to see the doctor. Surprisingly, there are not toys for the kids inside the rooms either. I cannot understand how this place does not provide toys for children to play when they know they take over an hour to see them! Even when you have an appointment. Not every parent likes to give their cell phones to their kids to keep them entertained, and I wouldn’t mind the wait time if at least my child was enjoying herself.

Second, you wait all this time to see a doctor, and when the doctor comes, he takes a maximum of 10 minutes talking to you while checking the baby. I have seen many of the doctors/ nurse practitioners here, and they all do the same. They always seem to be in a rush because they have all the other rooms filled with children who are waiting to be seen by them.

Third, the only decent doctor I was able to meet was Dr. Fierro, but good luck getting an appointment with her. She is fully booked, and you have to wait over three months to see here. That’s ridiculous.

Overall, my experience in this place has not been what I expected. I don’t want my child to be seen by every pediatrician. I wanted her to stay with one that cared, but that was not possible in this place.

What a great experience ! Everyone was really attentive, and you can tell they really care about their patients. Dr. Sharon Acosta is always such a wonderful doctor. And a special thank you to Hydiea, for making my daughter feel extremely comfortable , she truly was the highlight of the day ! GREAT STAFF !

I’m giving 4 ★ only because our Dr. is the best and the hours of this place are very convenient, but has been a hell of a journey to find her. We’ve spend 6 months seeing every other doctor here trying to find the right one for our baby and none of them are worth your time and the risk of your baby’s health, I don’t know if is a matter of liability, but they’re not doing their job as doctors, they were really basic and we had to be asking medical questions at the point they thought we were doctors.. no, we’re just really worry parents that can see you are not a good doctor. Maybe our expectations were too high (like any good parent should be) and we were about to leave until we happily and finally found Dr. Fierro. She’s an amazing professional, she obviously know what she’s talking about, she’s smart, friendly, secure, she actually listen to your concerns without any rush, she’s the only one that has given a truly physical exam to our baby, she’s what’s call a PEDIATRICIAN!!! Pediatrics Associates she’s your only good asset, raise her salary, take good care of her, I don’t know.. but don’t ever lose her because you’re gonna have to close your doors after her.
