Convenience is the name of this game. The POD was dropped in front of my old house and I was able to take my time to fill it up. Then it was picked up, stored and then delivered to my new property. Plus it was cheaper then to rent a truck, then a storage, then another truck for when I was ready. Not to mention the effort it would take to do all of that.

I thought it was a brilliant idea so I set up my delivery… but the driver who came to my house was kinda of rude and refused to put the container saying there was not enough space…

Long story short, I found another company called “UNITS” and they delivered the container the next day. It was cheaper with no attitude or issues from the driver.

You have other alternative ! Do your research.

PODS is fantastic! Of my many cross-country moves, PODS has made this easiest and a most seamless experience. ( I moved from Chicago to Miami.) The dispatcher and field staff were friendly, efficient, and courteous. They were sure to their promise. My things arrived on time. I will definitely be using PODS again for future moves.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They will quote you a low price and will charge you as they please after with awful customer service.

They sent a larger POD than what I ordered & have repeatedly billed me extra for their mistake. I asked for the smallest sized POD possible and they sent a larger POD then started charging me the higher rate. After a few months I noticed the error on my billing and called to complain. It took them 2 months to return my call, where somebody said they would listen to my sales call to confirm the price I was actually quoted. Weeks later he called back confirming that I asked for something smaller and was quoted a cheaper price, and confirmed that they sent me the wrong sized POD. He issued me a refund in the form of a credit for several months of overpayment. Cool, problem solved.

NOT. When that credit expired, I was once again being charged for the larger POD I did not ask for. Once again I had to wait for a customer service representative to get back to me, in which she informed me that because I have a bigger POD, I need to pay for the bigger POD, and if I want the cheaper price I need to move my stuff to the smallest POD (Which is what I originally had asked for and agreed to). It’s like they had ZERO notes of my entire conversation with the first customer specialist who listened to my sales call and confirmed I had asked for the smallest POD. It’s unreal that every time I get on the phone with these people, I repeat myself again, and again, and again. Does no one take notes? Is there no space for that in their computer system? I shouldn’t have to cover the cost of movers to move my stuff into a smaller POD when it is the company’s fault they gave me a different sized POD than what I asked for.
