The Flats Apartments at CityPlace

My husband and I lived at the Flats not too long ago for a year. It’s a beautiful building and it’s in a good location. Valet is also so nice and friendly. I thought it was perfect until our apartment ended up being flooded by a bursted pipe in our neighbors ceiling. We had to call 911, due to the apartments 24 hour emergency line not being answered. The day of the flood we were told not to enter our apartment, at the time my husband was scheduled to work a night shift and was forced to call out of his shift due to not being able to sleep the entire day. The flats ended up putting us in an hotel for like a week while everything was dried out. Then everything went down hill. The repair process took over a month every day I would come home to nails all over my floor, and our belongings thrown about. My husband working nights every afternoon men were in our living room drilling and making tons of noise. When we bought our complaints to management and inquired about a discount for all of the extra trouble having to eat out and pay for all our meals while in the hotel my husband missing a shift, some of our belongings being ruined due to water damage, they told us there would be NO discount on next months rent. When we pushed the issue we were served with papers stating we could break the lease if we got out by the end of the week. Which would have been another mega expense so we ended up staying and finishing the lease. I was very disappointed in the treatment we received there for the cost that we paid to live there. Their management was terrible and customer service was terrible. I don’t recommend this place.

I had a very pleasant experience living here about a year ago. I’m happy to report that I am in the process of becoming a resident once again. Lovely community and great apartment building!

Very luxury apartments. Beautiful place with restaurants and shops

We have absolutely LOVED living here. The management team is very friendly and responsive, the shared spaces are awesome, useful, beautiful, and clean, and the apartments are very nicely appointed with modern fixtures and plenty of storage space.

We adore the floor to ceiling windows in our apartment and that all appliances, including a nice washer and dryer, are included. Though we lived in just a studio, we felt there was more than enough space and never wanted for more.

My favorite thing by far is that everything we could possibly want on a typical day is a VERY SHORT walk away. A grocery store, tons of restaurants, and a movie theater + bowling alley can be found literally down the hall. A pharmacy is just a block away walking.

I would happily recommend this place to any of my friends (and none of my enemies).
